MAGGIE RIDENOUR

Maggie started her showing career in Michigan, and quickly ascended the state and national ranks as a junior rider. She has experience through the top levels of hunters, equitation, and jumper divisions. As a junior, she qualified four years in a row at all of the major equitation finals, competed and placed in multiple national and international hunter derbies, and competed for multiple years in the 1.40m junior jumpers. She also won the Michigan Equitation final 2 years in a row.

While in college at the University of Michigan, Maggie shifted her focus to importing and training young jumpers through their first meter class in the states to their first Grand Prix placings. Upon graduating college, she continued this trajectory working for David Raposa, a world famous jumper rider, and helped aid his training and sales business in Ocala, FL.

In 2019, Maggie returned to Michigan and began working for Greg Crolick, a nationally acclaimed hunter rider. She found her true passion lies in coaching and in helping instill in her riders not just a love for the sport but a love for the animal, and refines her students’ skills in the saddle and around the barn by placing a heavy focus on horse care.
